Every time I lay in bed
Some Whatifs get inside my head,
And they sing a song
About a world of their own

What if I never sleep?
What if I fall into a pit?
What if I can’t afford a car?
What if a dog falls in love with a cat?
What if I break my shoulder?
What if I never become older?
What if I never learn to fight?
What if I get lost into the night?
What if I lose a friend?
What if the world comes to an end?

When all is set up for me to sleep,
These Whatifs come and steal my dream.
