If I were in charge of the world,
I ´d cancel Monday mornings,
Tuesday mornings, syntaxes and Literature.
If I were in charge of the world,
There’d be brighter nights,
Football and basketball would be subjects at school and
There’d be healthier hamsters and dogs.
If I were in charge of the world,
You wouldn’t have homework,
You wouldn’t have, “Clean up”,
Or bullies at school,
You wouldn’t have beds on which you are not allowed to lunch.
If I were in charge of the world,
Ham would be a vegetable,
All American Pie movies would be rated G.
And a person who sometimes forgets to brush
And works with bees
Would still be allowed to be
In charge of the world
