If I
If I were in charge of the world,
I´d cancel math classes,
School in the mornings,
The chemistry teacher, and also the school timetable.
If I were in charge of the world,
There´d be bigger cokes at Mc Donald’s
Deeper pools, and
Basketball hoops forty eight inches lower.
If I were in charge of the world,
You wouldn´t have limited credit in your SUBE,
You wouldn´t need to stay the whole period in class,
You wouldn´t need to be eighteen to drive,
Or need an ID to enter a bar,
You wouldn´t even have sisters.
If I were in charge of the world,
All the food we like would be a vegetable,
All subjects would be extracurricular,
And a person who sometimes forgot his homework,
Would be still allowed to be
In charge of the world.

IF I WERE IN CHARGE OF THE WORLD
If I were in charge of the world
I ´d cancel school,
Alcohol,
Ricky Martin and Justin Bieber
If I were in charge of the world
There would be more time to watch TV
No queues at the supermarkets
There’d be fewer children working
If I were in charge of the world
You wouldn’t have sickness
You wouldn’t have pie
You wouldn’t have street lanes
Or "Don’t touch cigarettes"
You wouldn’t even have cigarettes
If I were in charge of the world,
A big hamburger with bacon would be a vegetable
Chocolate milk would be free
Evening showers would be banned
The moon would not exist, just the sun

Dream stealer
Every time I lay in bed
Some Whatifs get inside my head,
And they sing a song
About a world of their own
What if I never sleep?
What if I fall into a pit?
What if I can’t afford a car?
What if a dog falls in love with a cat?
What if I break my shoulder?
What if I never become older?
What if I never learn to fight?
What if I get lost into the night?
What if I lose a friend?
What if the world comes to an end?
When all is set up for me to sleep,
These Whatifs come and steal my dream.

God
He was on the street
while everyone was asleep
Suddenly, his eyes closed
and he appeared down a road
Then a big man appeared
he told him: "Have no fear"
He took him to the sky,
And so he wondered, “who is this guy?”
He asked him: "Are you God?
You are really different from what I thought.”
Then he started to cry
until his eyes finally dried
Then his eyes were opened
and he found himself really content
He said: "Thank you God,
I would love to meet you again.”

Who am I?
Take out the trash in your mind,
Turn it into ashes in your hand.
Open your palm and swiftly blow,
And simply let your emotions flow.
Through a river, down a slope,
When you feel like you're losing hope,
And life slips through your fingers,
And from your eyes a tear falls.
When you feel trapped in your own skin,
And the wall between good and evil is so thin.
When you feel like you can't even lean
In all your smiles and all your lies,
And you're holding on to nothing to your life.
And you're looking at smiles from miles away,
And you don't want to stay,
Just think twice before you blink.
Just cry and you may fly somewhere,
In your soul, to a place, deep down below,
Where your thoughts aren't a maze,
Where you don't even know your name.

Questions
Always I tell myself
some questions about my life
they are not letting me sleep at night
I need to take them out of my mind
the most common ones would be:
What if I am not really here?
and if I have no ears?
what if I fail the test?
what if I am hit by all the rest?
what if my parents die?
what if they see me cry?
what if I become very fat?
what if I become hurt by a big cat?
The "what if" is always there
but someday I will take it out
I will have no nightmares
anymore, not again.

Brother
I had a little brother
First, I thought he wouldn’t bother
But then, I told my mother
That my little brother
Was as pesky as a joker.
My mother said that it is normal
That one brother bothers another,
She said also that brothers are so special,
And I have to take him in.
“Later on when you grow up
And your brother doesn’t bother
You will notice that a brother,
Is not just a type of bother.
Quite the contrary, you will see.
So I can tell you that a brother
After all, is not a bother at all.”
