The Chronicles of Saderland


Jack Rousseau was a boy who was born on the 25th of May 1932 in London. When he was born his right arm was strange, it was all full of scales up to the elbow. From there up to the wrist it was ice, and his hand was of fire and lava. He also had metal wings on his back. When he was born his mother died.
He studied in a very poor school. He was poor because his father didn’t work. It was very difficult for him to get a job and take care of his son. They now lived in an old house in the middle of a farm. When he was 14 something strange happened to him…
A strange green light started to come out of his right foot. His foot became green, full of grass. When that happened he discovered he had powers. He could fly very fast, he could control nature and he could also throw fire and ice. He was going to tell it to his father when someone rang the bell. A little monster was standing in front of the door. He had ears like Mickey Mouse, a horrible nose and a big mouth full of sharp teeth. His body was full of scales and stings. In his hands he had sharp claws and his feet were deformed. He jumped over Jack and bit him. When that happened Jack fainted. It made a lot of noise and his father heard it. He ran to the front door and he saw Jack with blood in his arm. He took him to hospital.
Two months later Jack returned home. When he was in his bedroom he saw a little monster over his bed. This one was different from the other one. He was wearing glasses, he had little ears, mouth and nose, red hair and he had three fingers. It also had wings. Jack wasn’t scared because the monster’s attitude was calm.
“I come from a very far place called Saderland,” the monster said.
“Who are you and why did you come?” Jack asked.
“I’m Yasolo Moselo, it’s a name from Saderland. You are taking a great risk here in this house. The king of my country wants me to take you to Saderland”.
“Why? What can happen to me in this house?”
“Over there, look. Inside of that forest, there is a very big group of Cousadoes. Cousado is a country next to Saderland. They want to kill you. I can’t tell you anything else here. I`m going to explain you everything in Saderland.”
Yasolo Moselo whistled and an enormous monster appeared. It looked like a dragon but it had the body and the tail of a lion, in the neck it had got snakes and it also had wings. It was called Siderlad. They flew to Saderland and they landed in the middle of a group of houses. A very tall man with a big cane and a long beard came out of a house.
“I`m the king of Saderland,” he said, “We were waiting you, thanks Yasolo. I’m Resundo and I`m going to explain you everything you want to know. Your mother was born in Saderland and she was sent to the Earth to destroy a group of Cousadoes but she was captured and your father found her and married her, but she killed their king. We want you to be part of an army that is going to be sent to destroy the group of Cousadoes in your house. Do you accept?”
“Yes, but first I want to say it to my father.”
“OK. Yasolo is going to take you and then he will bring you with your father.
When they returned to Saderland, Resundo took him with Solkedin who was the boss of the army. He had stings on the top of his head, on his shoulders he had shells and one hand had the shape of a sword. He also had the feet of a spider. He was a strange creature. He introduced Jack to all the soldiers. In the evening, they went to the battlefield. All the soldiers were over their own Siderlad. They won the war but Solkedin died. Jack became the new boss and he and his father decided to stay and live in Saderland. Four years later, Resundo died and Yasolo Moselo became the new king and Jack’s father the new assistant. They never went back to Planet Earth. They belonged in Saderland.
