“The Tank” Asioja

Once upon a time there was a boy called ”The Tank" Asioja. He was as fat as a pig for some, a great scorer for others and a legend to many.
He was a young man of 16 , 1, 80 meters tall, that used to go to the “Salvador School”.
Nobody thought he would be the hero of Argentina in the World Cup 2014.
Asioja had a chance to be a good nine in the cups at “Salvador school” but he couldn’t shine playing this position. His friends did not know where to place him.
Instead he was so sad; he decided to have a try in Quilmes Team, where he wanted to get win a place in the first category team.
“The Tank” was very proud when "El Burrito" Ortega, the coach of the 4th division, offered him to start as a substitute, where he soon became a team player. Asioja was happy about becoming a very good friend of “El Burrito" and they started to meet at parties. But later on the bench, with Daniel Passarella as coach, he became a disciplined player. This gave him a very nice feeling; he was starting to play better.
After a great year as a substitute in Quilmes he went to Arsenal. There he made it into the team and he started sharing the forward position with Juan Pablo Angel. Asioja was cheerful and glad.
After a year, Arsenal bought David Trezeguet so Asioja was left again out of the team. “The Tank” was very sad and depressed but he decided to make it come back to the team.
After an excellent season of Juan Pablo and David, Abel Antonio Alves was appointed coach. Alves saw that "The Tank", with great sacrificed, was better than Trezeguet, so he placed him again into the first team, keeping David in the second team.
Asioja was amazed about being part of the first team. He took advantage of his opportunity and he won with Arsenal the “Apertura 2012” and the “Libertadores 2013”. He became a scorer.
At the age of 20, “the Tank” was shocked when called to participate in the World Cup 2014.
Argentina won the semi-finals to Germany with two goals from Higuain and one of Messi, but at the last minute of the match the first one suffered a serious injury. Martin Palermo, the Coach, decided to replace Higuain for Asioja. The final was Zero to Zero, but in the last minute “the Tank” formed a great wall with Messi, who returned him a high centre to the penalty point. It was too high, and the goal keeper was ten centimeters taller than him. But Asioja, following Ortega’s advice, looked up to heaven, and with the tip of his nose pushed the ball into the goal.
Argentina was champion again. "The Tank" was the hero of the night, and "the nose of God" passed into history.
