My Grandfather.
His name was Gonzalo Sanchez
And my memory makes him
The best man I’ve met in my life.
Teresa Lopez was his wife,
A great woman in my family
A bit noisy, but extremely lovely.
He died in May this year,
Nevertheless, I can still hear
His voice telling Teresa
“I will love you forever, my dear”.
Mom loved him as nobody did,
And now I don’t know how to say
How much I miss him these days.
His grandsons made him really happy
Also, when they visited him in a hurry.
Coruña was where he was born
A small city, but well-known.
